Hi All, I bought a 1991 KDX200F with adr compliance plate (Australian road registerable). Bike was running a bit smokier than expected. So I have pulled down the head and barrel. Oil was creamy from radiator fluid, I'm guessing.
1. Has a big bore kit, and the piston is marked 72mm and I'm hearing that this is the start of a sad tale because you can't get the pistons anymore?
2. The powervalve assembly appears operational, however the left side powervale is completly missing, is this a known mod?
I've already sourced a standard barrel and am going to get it replated or steel sleeved. Happy to go back to standard, just thinking I should buy the missing powervalve?
Thanks for your input.

Eric Gorr told me that an "E" can not be bored out and keep the power valves.
If you go back to normal, get the valves.

Thanks for that info. I'm 50 and reliving my youth, so don't need all that extra power anyway.

Yeah, I hear they are sometimes finnicky with jetting and the powerband changes a bit.
