Chassis/Susp. bearings

Post by magilla »

I picked up my 2000 KX125 Saturday and am starting to map out what I'll need to do for my conversion. I'd like to strip it all the way down and replace all the bearings/seals in the chassis and suspension. Any recommendations for supplier? All Balls? Pivot Works? Other?
Also, for those who've completed this build before, is there an alternate bearing setup used once the swing arm is narrowed or do the stock size KX125 units work?

Thanks!

I used pivot works for everything. I replacd everything.

Yes use the KX bearings, they work it is a KX swing arm. Look in my instructions, it is pretty clear.

Thanks ebeck.
Yes, your write up was pretty clear, just wanted to double check.

Pivot works seemed pretty reasonable for all the bearings.

Yeah the price was good, that is why I used hem. Had not had any problems. Grease the crap out of them before putting them in.
