Kdx200/cr125 jetting recommedations

Post by CRX200_FRANKENSTEIN »

Hoping to see what you jetting specs with this unique hybrid has worked for most of you

2001 cr125 frame with 2000 kdx200 motor
Stock cr125 airbox
Uni air filter
Stock Keihin Pwk carburetor
Fmf gnarly woods pipe
Fmf turbinecore 2 silencer for cr250 (mucks things up, and has most mechanics stumped)
Current jetting specs
155 main
45 pilot
Jd jetting kit red needle
Clip on 1st position
Air screw 1.5 turns out (also tried 2 turns out)
Silencer is freshly packed. Currently has 4 hours
Ride single track in Washington at 0-3000 feet
50:1 with motul 710
92 octane VP racing ethanol free gas

bogs at 0-1/4 throttle
Smooth mid range
Amazing top end

Spooge coming from silencer, any recommendations before I tear into carb for 3rd try? Searched the forums and couldn't find anything specific to hybrids

Because of the mix of Honda and Kawi parts JD jetting and FMF don't have a clear direction on proper specs.

Thanks in advance!!

Your pilot is huge. Go to a 38 or 40, then drop the main to a 150 or so if it needs it.
