Mx style plastics
I've seen a few different answers about wether or not kx front and back fenders will fit on a newer style kdx with out major modifying. I saw a pic of a kdx with mx style fenders and thought it looked damn good so I want to do it now. I know the maier makes a fender that fits but it's on the pricey side so I was wondering if kx fenders would fit on without major modifying??? Thanks

Fronts are direct bolt on, rears don't fit...at all.

Re: Mx style plastics
maier gets to be expensive since they are the only ones who offer a MX style rear fender for the KDX
ive bought them new for $75.00 and used for as "little" as $30.00

Re: Mx style plastics
I put the Maier rear fender on my old bike and really liked it. It bolted straight up, was nice heavy plastic, looked good.
For the front, you can bolt almost anything to up, you just may need to open up a couple of holes. I think I put an 08-12? kx450F front fender on mine; I didn't care for the latest style fender at the time. I don't recall needing to make any mods to bolt it up.
I would cruise e-bay before anywhere else when looking for this kind of stuff, especially for the rear fender. But that's just me; I usually have good luck on there.

There's a used maier fender on eBay now for <$30. Shipping is high but if you live in FL it may be close enough to pick up...
