Swingarm options for 2005 KX125
Trying to figure out if other year KX125 swingarms will fit on my 2005. When I look up the kawi part number for it, it does not show that part number being shared with any other years or models. I have heard that the suspension linkage is different in 03, 04, and 05; was unsure if the mounting position on the swingarm changed also? Anyone try mismatching swingarms and frames in the 03-05 year range?

Way to reply 3 months later. :)
2003 won't work, in case you do see this Tyler. The linkage is very different than 2004 and later.

Re: Swingarm options for 2005 KX125
Jason,
Thank you for the input. I did some research and found that I basically needed an 05 swingarm and that was it. Luckily I found one on ebay the other day, should be coming to me tomorrow
The main reason I was going to replace it was because I wanted everything perfect on it. The P.O. must have stripped a chain adjuster and installed a heli coil that is wicked crooked in there. I was going to drill it out and install a new one, and say screw it. That was until I pulled the chain slider off. The chain wore more than 3/4's of the way thru the swingarm near the pivot. So I said screw it, getting a new one!

If you post the dimensions of the 125 swing arm I can check it against the rmz250/kx250f to see if it's an option.
