RB designs won't deal with anyone outside the USA

Post by EUROKA69 »

Hi I'm in sydney Australia and really like the sound of Robs modifications so I contacted RB and got back the answer of he won't deal with anyone out side the USA. So as I don't know anyone in the USA i though I'd ask if any members might be willing to help me if I ship my spare carb to you and then you forward the carb to Rob and then ship it back to me? I am happy to pay all costs involved and pay someone to assist me, it's the hardest way around this but I have no other choice. The bike has boysen 607 reeds and fmf desert pipe and silencer which Rob says works well with his carb mods, I'm just missing the moded carb. Cheers

Rob does OK work but you will be much happier with the work Ron does.

I'll do it for no charge, he's 25 miles from me. PM or email me. I dont know what shipping charges would be, but it might be better value to get a new one from him and have him modify that one.

Make sure the carb you send is in good mechanical shape. I bought one on ebay and shipped it directly to him. It wasnt in good shape and he wouldnt work on it.

Make sure your carb is very clean, as in spotless, before you send as Ron won't work on it if it's dirty.

If the carb not clean he will clean it but charge you for it. I tried to clean mine but it wasn't up to his standard so he cleaned and charged me for it. I was happy with that because my carb was like brand new when I got it back.
