I have a KDX 220R, RB head mod, air striker carb,Vforce reeds. It was a little snappy at times especially on hill climbs. Installed 10oz flywheel wheight and wow! Smooth power delivery !

I put the Steahly 10 oz flywheel weight on my stock '99 KDX200 with a Lectron carb and the throttle response and low-end smoothness is fantastic! The two mods made really tight, twisty single track much more manageable for me. The power delivery from idle is wonderfully crisp, luggable and predictable into the midrange when it starts to transform into a screaming 2 stroke again.

I've been running one for about a year. I like it. Especially in slow technical stuff and climbs. It lugs along. goes slower without stalling, so I can go a little easier on the clutch. That keeps it cooler.
I had a problem though. One of the set screws on the side backed out, and wrecked the cover! Luckily no other damage. I found a new cover on E bay. Put the screw back with thread locker and peened it in. no problems since. So look out for that.
