AliExpress rear sprocket, cheep but seems good.

Post by Tioli »

I want to gear up but the chain is a bit short so needed to go smaller on the rear first.
Looking around I found this on AliExpress. $60 odd dollars delivered, bi-metal with a steel ring and aircraft aluminium centre, lots of sizes and colours.
After 2 tanks the steel ring shown near no sign of warming in. The rivets are solid with both parts locked togeather no movement.

For the price it seems a good deal.

Hmmm. That doesn't really seem any cheaper than the commonly available aftermarket brands (Renthal, JT etc). Do you think its a better sprocket?

Agreed, I think you can get similar sprockets from RMATV for $15 more, but they are made in "MERCA" and have warranties & etc.
