2000 KDX200 KDX250 front forks?

Post by decluk13 »

I think I've already seen the answer in some other posts. Looking to confirm there is no performance gain going from the stock conventional forks on my bike to the USD forks on the KDX250s of the early 90s'. This is a symptom of the lack of damping adjustment in both designs? my stock forks are rebuilt and resprung for my weight.

Cheap parts bike (no motor) near me and i'm trying to talk myself out of buying it. would have wheel, axle, caliper, brake line, and at least left gaurd.

Yeah, not much of one but it is an upgrade. The USD forks flex less which is a lot better for faster riding IMO over the stock KDX forks. That said, I don't think they're worth the time or money.

I would not go for it since your current forks are sprung for your weight and rebuilt. Would they be better? Yes. Would it be so much better that it would be worth the time and money compared to what you have now? No.
