For economical reasons, I was wondering if the KDX250D 91-94 front wheel and brake swap onto a KLX300 fork?
Due to a damaged lower right tube, I'm looking at upgrading forks on my friend's bike instead of finding a new tube and doing a seal/rebuild job, as a slightly better spring rate and much improved valving would really be nice.
I realize the 250 would benefit from even stiffer springs, but this would be a beneficial move regardless.
I did read a thread on someone 3 years ago enlarging the holes in the 250 base valve piston and check plate with great success however.
