My shock needs replating on the shaft. Leaking .
So while its apart, any easy re-valving could make it better?

Re: H series shock rebuild.
Are you able to just buy a used shock? I see you are in New Zealand. I am not sure how many used KDX shocks are available in your area.
We had a shock revalve thread about 3 days ago. Look that one up.

Re: H series shock rebuild.
Hey G. I am unable to locate the thread on shock revalve. Mine has been revalved but I would like to read up on it. Picking my racetech 5.2 spring up today! Appreciate you sharing your expertise with me thus far my friend.
Screaming Chicken race tomorrow and stitches out yesterday, Supercross today ( gonna miss seeing you) so I'll be prepping late or very early to at least keep my 6th place standing after not riding for a month. I've spent many minutes looking at my KDX though as she sits in the building by the shelves all cleaned up.
I'm hoping that turning 59 (what?) during the haitus after the flu and surgery hasn't slowed my bike down-
