I know this probably belongs in the hybrid section but it is a basic suspension question. I just purchased a 1995 KX 125. I paid next to nothing for it, so naturally it needs some love. The rear shock is like my kids pogo stick. Anyways, I wanted to replace it with a newer rear shock from a KX. The later model ones look very similar. are the later KX125's like say an 01' a direct swap of the rear shock? Thanks

just service it. At least new oil and a N2 recharge would do great wonder. Save your money really, I dunno if it'll be a direct swap, i think they changed a lot of the design in 99.
