Impulsive Purchase - '99 KDX 220 Oil Filter

Hi I'm looking to you in the expert community to confirm what I think know I am; a "first class plonker"!

In preparation of provding my latest purchase with a comprehensive service, I went onto a well known cyber store and purchased plugs, filters, oils, washers etc. One of my prized new purchases was a pair of "oil filters", one to fit, one spare - I feel a little foolish to admit that I can't find where to fit it!!??

I've been back and checked the description, yep KDX 220 - 99 to 2003 - A6 to A9.

Have I, as I suspect, been conned?? Or am I being a total idot in not finding where to "stick it"?

And if there was, I'm sure you'd have some kinda coffee filter hack job done on it :partyman:
