Yup! Allot of people say they never have a problem with it until they do!

The turning point for me was I hit a berm on the highside and it dumped be in the middle hard. That hurt!

Mine is just about as tight... the forks do touch my tank.

Inda has 48mm, mabe that is why they touch the tank? Do the 46mm give you a little more room?

I just put my 46's on and they miss the tank by about 1/8". Mabe the different year combinations are just a little bit different. Mine is a 2000 kdx with 2000 kx 250 forks.

Heck, the 43's i put on mine hit the tank until I extended the steering stop. I notice no reduction in turning radius, although there may be some. I didn't exactly go about checking it before and after in any scientific way.

My 46's do, or should I say did hit the clutch cable guide on the right radiator the first time I turned it all the way to the right. Another variable may be that the tank might not be exactly in the same spot on every bike.
