What other fork guards fit OEM USD KDX forks (1993-1994)?

I've decided to put my basket case/parts bike together over this winter to have a nice E-series beater. I've started the parts inventory, and I seem to be missing the fork guards and guides. This is a 1994 KDX 200, and it came with OEM USD forks. Does anyone know if there are KX guards and guides that will work with these forks?
The reason I ask is that to get new OEM guides and guards from Bike Bandit, I'm looking at almost $100!! I haven't found any KDX guards on fleaBay, but I have found some 90s KX guards. I did a little bit of parts fiche comparing, but the KX guards of the early 90s are different--they don't wrap around as far as the KDX guards. I'm not averse to using KX guides and guards, but I don't know if they'll bolt up. Anyone have experience with this?

Ha! That's great!
If I can't find a set of guards and guides for a reasonable price, I am considering buying the full-length neoprene fork skins and putting a double layer on until a nice set of guards falls in my lap.
But PVC would work, too... :)

David, I see I`m several weeks late however IF you`re still after some kawasaki plastic fork guards and IF you JUST HAPPEN to know someone in Japan.... or know someone who knows someone in Japan and owes you a favour....? This afternoon I bought some some OEM guards for my KDX`s USD forks for 1700 yen each. The only two Kawasaki dealers in Australia that were even prepared to stoop to look up these parts seemed to think a punter would be prepared to make with A$60 for each side. No idea if this helps you tho Dave. all the best mate.

That guard bolt pattern looks just like the 2000 kx fork pattern. I just bought a set of UFO guards and they came with new guides for about $26.
