What about using a KX 250 chassis?

What about using a KX 250 chassis?
Any downside to using a redily-available KX 250 rolling chassis sans plastic?

KX 250 Frame
Maybe weight and perhaps not as nimble on the tight trail? Probably not a big issue if you are a bigger guy. Haven't heard of anyone using the 250 frame though?
