Last sunday had a fairly hard ride with 6 mates ,bike was fine however half a day into the ride it seemed to lose its edge,power valve seems ok, filter clean etc ,any ideas ?

clogged jet due to something like dirt in the tank? partially plugged silencer somehow...i looped a bike once and didn't notice my silencer was partially clogged until performance sucked. worn or chipped reed? plug starting to go bad? any substantial elevation or temp change halfway thru the day?

Thanks for the speedy reply, carb problem could be it, we went through a deep sandy river and i got stuck, air box had inhaled some dirtly water nd bike was hrd to start, ill try there first, thanks, ps we have had the head off piston etc all ok,

i bet you've got junk in the carb bowl and everywhere else in the carb. i'd take out the reed valve and make sure its clean as well
