Can't update profile

I hope I'm not being dense...but I can't update the information in my profile. For example, my location info isn't quite correct anymore, but when I change it and hit submit, and get a message saying my profile has been updated, it really isn't updated. Help!

When you update your profile... try putting your password in the "Current Password" field.

I do not know why it wouldn't let you change your location....

I tried again with my password, I can update my bike profile, but it keeps reverting to the original location info.

Nope.

Funny thing is, when I go to my profile, it's there, where it's supposed to be. It just doesn't show up here.

It is under your bike profile but not your user profile.

In the php.ini if "allow_downloads=no" try switching to yes? Sorry if this doesn't help. I merely searched the phpbb site for clues.
