kdx 220 clutch oil???

hey i have a 1998 kdx 220 and it has a sight glass on the right side. im guessing thats trans oil or clutch oil??? im about to go riding soon and i know it needs to be changed. is there a plug i can pull or do i have to have to take the case off and change the gasket and everything. im sure there is a plug but dont wanna go out there and tear anything up you know??? one more thing....what is the proper gas/oil ratio i should aim for thank you very much

The site glass it the transmission oil...There is a drain plug on the bottom of the engine toward the back in the center. It will be the only "bolt" pointing straight down. As far as what gas/oil ratio you should run, Everyone on this site will tell you there own "only way to go is" so that part is VERY subject to opinion. I can say that the book says to run 32:1 and that should be just fine for most people that just ride. If you do a search you will find many a debate on this issue.
