I noticed I had fuel dripping on to the case and its coming from the petcock.the 90 degree elbo that the fuel line attatches to has a o ring that looks to be dried out can I get this o ring its self or do I have to get a new pet cock?is there another bike I can swap the petcock for on this kdx that doesn't have this o ringed elbow?my blaster has a banshee petcock on it and its much larger for fuel delivery and is a straight shot to the carb not all chinsey looking like my kdx's.

There are rebuild kits available on ebay for $15 shipped. I bought one and it stopped my PITA petcock from leaking all over the carb, frame and floor. Dry as a bone now. Included all seals and o-rings you could ever need.

I just ordered a rebuild kit off ebay so I can let you know later on this week. Looks pretty simple to me though.

How young ARE you. Fiche is short for microfiche. It's an ancient form of information storage media. Texting and sexting functions were disabled. Only the wise elders retain such knowledge.

For any size, type and quantity of seals or o-rings,look in the yellow pages or google seals and packings in your local area.I have bought almost all my seals from a local supplier for over 20 years with work at much less than OEM,quality is just as good or better, place next door carries bearings so they are covered to.
Problem sometimes with dealing with a auto store is they do not carry alot in metric sizes, imperial sizes can be used in a few cases but sometimes close is not good enough.
