I have just come across a mint condition GPR V4 stabilizer for a really good price. It comes off a street bike. Is there any way that I can mount this on my KDX? I realize the street versions are slightly different as far as dampening, but for the price I am getting it I can look past that.[/b]

You might think you can look past that, but the damper on a street bike is a completely different animal. It's not "slightly" different. I wouldn't bother. Even if you get it at a good price, you'll spend a mint for the mounting kit.
