Gonna need a new caliper. Any reason I should choose a kdx over a kx or vice versa?

Or does anyone know if I can use an "H" kdx caliper on a Kx450f fork?

I know the "E" won't work

Ok when I picked these up I noticed one of the tubes had the base valve (on top) and the valve assembly on the bottom was loosened

Took it apart to find this

Image

Pretty chewed up looking

Took it apart and could see the culprit down the end of the inner cartridge, luckily I had a pair of tiny extra long needle nose pliers, cuz it was really stuck in there!

Image

Dunno if it's some kinda clip or just a piece of wire some idjit dropped down in there??

Ron Ayers says 130 bux, wonder if it includes all the pieces I'm missing (the fiche is really vague)

looks like you're missing the nut and washer on the rod along with the treaded part...maybe that's what you have here::?
