I have a 1992 KDX 200 I have put a new top end, new magneto, new plug, cleaned the exhaust, clyinder, carb and fuel system extensively and still the bike will not start. I replaced the lower cylnder gasket more than once and it blew everytime. Everthing is back together properly, the carb gets gas and the plug sparks, but the bike will not kick over at all.

Can anyone offer me any suggestions or ideas as to what is wrong and what I need to do to make this bike finally run?

what do you mean "blew"

KDXManiac = Blew as in it broke or popped after a short period of riding.

the bike want "kick over"........or will it not "start"?
was the bike running, blowing gaskets? is this what you fixed?

The bike doesn't kick over at all. I tried pop starting on a hill and it doesn't run. My guess is bad compression. The bike was running but it did blow the cylinder base gasket so I replaced it, the clylinder base gasket blew again so I replaced it, this happened at lest 3 times. After that I put in the new top end, and the other new parts mentioned I also did the cleaning that I mentioned but since the first time the clylinder base gasket broke the bike hasn't run. I don't know what to fix to make it work.

I checked the crankcase breather and hose and as far as I can tell it isn't clogged at all.

if you have a broken ring.... the compression could go down into the bottom end...........have you checked the compression yet?

I haven't checked the compression, but is it likely I have a broken ring the bike has a new top end in including rings?

how much have you run it with the new top end?

Not at all. It won't start.

Piston in backwards?
