KDX200 rear shock quwstion

Hello I was wondering if there was any other shock from a newer bike that can be swapped for the 1989 to 1994 model. I have found that there are springs from yzf450. And yz426. Yz 250 that work I found that the stock spring for the 450 is a 5.5kg which is about .3 too much for me but the 426 is about the same butg for that specific bike is rated for a lot less weight rider. I am guessing these newer bikes need the stiffer spring for thelonger wheelbase and angle of the shock. Anyway if I can save money on a different shock that I can swap instead of rebuiding mine it would be good. I do know most newer shocks seem to be 46mm and our bikes are 44 I don't know how much the 2mm is but I do know the position of the resevoir is a factor
