Hard to start when hot

I just installed my RB'd carb and head and the bike runs extremely well. When cold it starts on the 1st or second kick with no choke. No off idle bog at all whether hot or cold.
However, when I try to restart when the bike is already warmed up, it takes 4 kicks to get it to fire. Remember, it runs great either cold or warm, just wondering why it's harder to start when warm. Used to be easier to start when warm.
I'm hesitant to play with the jetting as it runs so darned well.
Before sending the carb to RB I played with the float height cause it was spewing gas a lot. Is it possible I set the float too low and that's altering the starting characteristics? I know it's NOT the work RB did.
Any experience?
