My father found a 1990 kdx 200 with a defective engine. He sell it 500$... the two tires hare new and it have an fmf pipe

Does is price too hight for 1990...

Depends on what's wrong with the engine. I gave $450 for my 89 that supposedly only needed a kickstart ratchet gear, part was included with purchase. Of course it actually needed much more than that.

That sounds high. I just bought a running '88 for $150. The plastics and seat covers are rough, the motor was noisy and the kick starter slipped, but it ended up being an easy fix. The tires weren't much good though. I also found a parts bike for $20. I would offer $200 to $300 if it looks good.

geez, you guys can find some really killer deals. Around here in Oklahoma, ppl want an arm and a leg for any type of bike. they usually want 1000 bux for 95 and older I've never seen anything below 500 that was not a complete basket case, rusted out or in a bin part.

Yes a little...Maybe not a reference but I paid 100$ for a '92 with a blown hotrod bearing and worn out tires Let us know what happens!

You have to remember that bikes this far up north are a litle more expensive than you guys down in the states. A lot of times i'm jealous of the prices you guys end up paying for your bikes.

I'm normally jealous of the prices other folks seem to find. Around here, if it runs, it brings a grand. I felt really lucky finding my bike for $450 in the condition it was in.
