tailored prescription glasses for riding?

I've been using my regular glasses so far but I'm getting tired of the blind spots and the scratches I get on them.

Anybody riding with goggle strap or something similar?

I would still use regular goggles on top of them though, it's not to replace the helmet goggles but to replace my prescription glasses.
Hope that makes sense...
If so, how do you like them, how do they fit under the helmet? and where did you get them?
thx

I have not worn goggles in a few years

If I know a brushy area is up ahead, I just flip down my shield

I've been using safety glasses for years, no googles.

Much cooler than goggles and seldom fog up.

Pretty soon I'll be getting prescription safety glasses.

Do you wear a street helmet? I have considered that.

This is what I use. Keep the dust out. A real issue out west.

Those look great. I used Scott OTG model 87s for years but as my eyes have gotten worse I get dizzy when my glasses bounce around with the helmet.

I stepped up and bought an Arai XD which works well in all but the most dusty conditions. The Pro-views might be the ticket when I ride behind multiple riders, Thanks.

I have using Prescription inserts for years. Call Drew at 1888RXGOGGLES. He ran an Optical Lab and now just sells the prescription inserts. He is a moto guy. The inserts will fit into almost any goggle behind the goggle lens. You can switch the insert to another pair of goggles in seconds. Prior to eye surgery, I had a crazy prescription, and Drew always got the prescription dead on.

My last insert was around $100. It is a simple but highly effective solution.

Check out his website at http://www.888rxgoggles.com

They aint cheap

But find another helmet more comfortable...

The visor, unlike a lot of offroad helmets, is actually low enough to block the sun

It flows through the air nicely, I've done +90 mph and it does not catch the air like an offroad helmet will
