I'm having problems reattaching the plastic shrouds(not the white plastic fins, but the green plastics) after installing Devol Radiator Guards. The top bolts that bolt into the tank go in fine but the lower bolt that screws into the radiator does not line up. I'm using the supplied spacer by devol. Are you guys having to shave away some of the reinforcing plastic on the inside of the shroud to get the lower bolt to line up? It seems that if I shaves some of the plastic it MIGHT fit. I don't know if my shrouds are original or aftermarket.

Yes you have to shave, take a look into the devol's instructions :)

DOH! The instructions...why didn't I think of that? I read them a while back but didn't recall anything about having to shave down the plastic. Found the instructions and got it installed.
