I have a question on pipes. Which one do I get to fit the kdx motor and the kx frame? Also any information that anyone has on an older swap would be great because I cant find information on this old of a swap.

You're probably looking at modifying an E series (earlier) pipe to fit. I think the only one you can currently buy new is from FMF.

How do you modify it? Earlier as in kdx200? or kx125? What years?

a side note, dunno how much you'll really gain by using a 92 kx frame and suspension, I'm doing an hybrid myself and I wouldn't go into this much trouble for a 92 frame. Just my .02

I was wondering the same thing myself about the old frame. I picked up my 93 kdx 200 with a 92 mx frame (including subframe, suspension, swing arm, radiators, air box etc) for 500.00 bucks. I really just want this bike to mess around on but mainly for friends to ride. I wanted to get a little more modern frame under the 200 motor and little bit better look. Keep the info comin. I really apreciate it. Maybe I should just part out the kx frame and put new plastic on the kdx?

I'd keep the KDX and part out the kx, then pimp up the kdx, or wait for a better newer frame. Seems you just lookin for a bike to toy around, KDX is perfect for that

What's the big difference in the older kx frames vs newer? Also would I gain anything by swapping the kx suspension into the kdx? The front end is already swapped.

nope no gain, since I don't think the shock are the same size...
