On a KX and YZ 125 that I've had, those engines had vent hoses that went from the powervalve area and ran down the frame. Both of those bikes ran rich and oil would drip out the hose from time to time.

I was thinking that if extra oil had a place to drain, it might help keep the KIPS cleaner. Think there is any benefit to doing this on a KDX?

my 92' KDX 200 SR model has this feature on the resonator. which after i changed to the h series resonator cos dripping a mess on my flooring. no different actually. carbon still as much inside the kips. jetting still plays a part.
