If you recall, I've been having gtrouble starting my bike after it has been transported to a place to ride. troday I started the sucker up prior to it beig put in the pick-up - started on the first kick. got to the riding spot and unloaded the bike. Pulled on the choke and got ready to kick the thing over. Anticipating anotgher no starter, I was pleasantly shocked when it started on the first kick.

Got the bike back home afer a long day of riding (I now know where the term Monkey Butt comes from) and the bike started right up on the first kick.

I did wipe all the hoses adn thought that one of them might have been plugged. Can't beleive it was this simple.

re: all the hoses'

Vent hoses?

Make any 'adjustment' to the petcock position during transport?

Hey! When the dirtbike gods smile on you, just enjoy it!!

Good to hear it!! Of course, I'll choose to think it was your methodical problem solving method that actually fixed it...not the smiling face of the dbg's.

No "adjustment" to the petcock other than being very careful that it was exactly horizontal prior to being transported. Maybe this helped as well.

Great day to be out last weekend - sure enjoyed myself.

That 'exactly' part could have been a good bit of the problem.

Isn't a good ride a blast? We rode a bit over 80 miles yesterday. What a treat!!

Have fun!! (some more....)
