my friend is lookin for a cheap dirtbike (125 perferably) and i wanna know what kinda competion he'll be giving my 220. my 220 is stock and for all intensive purposes lets say his 125 will be too. what should i look for?????

Not sure what you're asking. Are you looking for advice to shop for a bike for him, or just asking if his 125 will spank your 220?

In the woods you'll roast him. On a track he'd have an advantage. Mostly it'll come down to rider. Boring the carb and modding your head will give you a lot more over-rev, which would help immensely in a heads up between the two bikes.

oh im sorry man i was wonderin exactly what i should expect out of a 125 2 stroke and i am a WAY better rider for now...... i guess lets say in one of those 300ft sand drags who would win and by how much?

I've had both bikes. It would be very close. The 125 would "feel" faster, and may well win, but it would be close.

If you mean seat height, I think the 125 was a bit taller. It depends on the year and it will depend on suspension set up a bit

alright but my buddies 5'7 and 110 pounds im 5'6 and 125 but im ALOT better rider he has had a 400 ex but wasnt comfortable on 4 wheels. the only bike he has ridden was my brothers 125 4 stroke (no power couldnt even see my 220) should i tell him to get a 85 or 100????

Tell him to make up his own mind or research on a non KDX site.
