Desert Tank on a 2000 KX125 build
Just bought a 2000 KX125 to start my hybrid. I have a 2000 KDX220 engine to put in it. Has anyone put an oversize tank on their hybrid? I know it takes some heating and molding on a stock tank so I am wondering if the oversize will work. I would really like the extra capacity. Thanks-- This site is great!

I think it's been done with a clarks tank.

I bought a Clarke tank for my hybrid (99 KX125 frame) and I am thinking of putting it back on eBay. In looking at the tank, it seems like there would be a ton of mods to get it to work. I'd be interested in pics before I take the plunge.
I'm getting 50+ miles with the stock tank and that seems to be ok for most of the stuff we do.
