Hi, what is the difference between sand blasting and powder coating? Or both are actually same processes but some call it by different name? i wanted to do a new paint work to my frame and swingarm and just want to make sure i tell the guy doing it the right process to work on. thanks for the advice.

Sandblasting is blasting the substrate with sand to remove all coatings and rust.

Powdercoating is applying a plastic type coating to a substrate to protect it. Like painting but much more durable.
