What size fuel line do I need?

In the procees of winter KDX rebuild. Frame out for powder coating and next week will rebuild top and bottom of motor.

Last week, was watching supercross on TV. Noticed a few trick bikes with fancy red or black fuel lines. So I thought it would be cool to do for this KDX rebuild project.

Can anyone recommend some nice fuel lines that hopefully are colored. Motion Pro at least makes black lines. Anyone know what the correct inside diameter would be. 1/4 inch? 3/16? Want to get good quality fuel line that does not turn hard and crunchy after a season or so.

Thanks for your time. Steve

IIRC it's all 1/4" including fuel line and vents.

Correct on the 1/4". I ordered a couple myself (Kawi Green) as things are getting a little brittle on the KDX and the ones on the little KX85 are hard as a rock. Picked up a set of Roko Quick Straps and a few other odd bits as well. Didn't know this until checkout but by ordering late in the day I got an "after hours" 12% discount!

This is the best fuel line I've ever used:

It stays pliable for a LONG time after being exposed to gasoline OR methanol.
