i have a 99 kdx 220, i was wondering what was the easiest front end setup to use in my conversion. jus tryn to make a great bike a lil better thanks.

KX500... direct bolt on.
Get the entire frontend.

It is the same for 96-2006.
It is not a big deal to swap the stem. get any KX front end 96 or newer.

And just to clarify we are talking the whole front end and not just the forks?

Really it's just the triples, and forks. People have reused KDX wheels and brakes. Sniff around.

the kdx stock front wheel has the odo mount, you can reuse it on the kx swap if you can make a adapter for it, not many have done that, but it's possible. It's just much easier to get the whole front end and not have to deal with that.
