I have a 1992 kdx 200 and i am buying a new fatty pipe and silencer. on fredettes website it says that for the 89-94 to use the powercore 2 silencer but on the fmf website it states that it only fits 95-up? will it work or should i just stick with the first powercore what are the differences?

I don't know where the confusion is...but there certainly is some.
Whatever 'muffler' you choose, there is NO similarity between the 'E' and the 'H' 200s. 'Powercore' is a trademark name of FmF, it's not a model that fits a particular bike.
If Fredette has a Powercore that fit an 'E' series bike, th'ar 'ya go.
I looked up 'Powercore2' on FmF's website. They don't list it for the 'H' KDX. FmF being as loony as they generally are, there may well be some other page than I'm looking at that says different. That wouldn't be surprising.
What are the differences? Between what? The 'E' and the 'H' Powercores? It doesn't matter, does it? You need one that fits your '92..period.
I don't suppose you mean 'TurbineCore'? You're running your '92 KDX on a closed track?
Spark arrestors are required in most 'trail' situations. The Powercore is not a spark arrestor.
