Hi everyone KDX riders!
I'm new to this forum, but not new to the bikes world =)
I'm looking for replacement of my old cracked carb (intake) boot.
I found one on ebay for really cheap money, but I'm not sure would it fit.

As per http://www.ronayers.com spare part web-site, that boot (removed from 2004 KX250 ) have P/N 16065-0002, but for my Kawasaki 1992 KDX250sr for the same item P/N is 16065-1168.
The question is, will that boot from 04 kx250 part fit my bike?
if not, any one has experience to fit other years or models boots into kdx250?

Off dealer said, that boots on mine bike and 88-93 Kx's 250 are identical, unfortunatelly I can't find anyone who would sell it.
original brand new piece makes damege of 78usd

Any ideas gents?

Hi, to all again.

Maybee this would help to someone somehow.

The answer is NO!

But, the off-dealer was right, the earlier model KX250 88-93 boot fit KDX250 91-94 easily.
theese boot's diameters are identical as well as reed cage flanges.
so, those are compatible 100%.
even KX's inside diameter and shape is bit bigger and better for air-gas mixture flow.
Thanx for viewing...

Hey Mexanist, welcome!

What part of Latvia are you from? I was in Riga and Daugavpils about 12 years ago. Very pretty country, and great people.
