AFTER MARKET TANK

A crack in the tank adjacent to the spout required replacement. I bought a Clarke, but found it to be less then a satisfactory fit. That said, what other would be a suitable consideration? OEM would fit, but would be way more then aftermarket

What year?
The dealers replace KDX cracked tanks n/c if it's like the two I had.

I think that ship has sailed....
There is always the butt ugly IMS.... I'd stick with the Clark myself though.

I had a Clarke on my '98 220 and it fit perfectly. Where are you having fit problems?

My Clarke over sized tanks fits GREAT. Did you get the stock or over sized tank?

The tank doesnt rest cleanly atop the frame as did the OEM unit. The mounting holes being the culprit. Also, the mis alligning of the holes leads to the side panels not mounting as they should. Maybe I need some more "fudging."

i noticed this problem too. makes for a real tight shroud fit. real frustrating. mine does ultimately fit, however. looks good. im waiting to "unveil" the before and after pictures of my bike, so no pics yet. IMO, even with the misaligned tank, shes a beaute.
