What brand of skidplate would you say is the best as far as overall durability, protection , and hell, even looks are concerned for my '06 200?
I'm kind of leaning toward Devol as the quality product, but I really am unsure. A Moose Racing, Works Connection, Scott's, or MSR skidplate could be just as good or even better as far as I know. Devol is the priciest, I therefore have to assume it is the best overall.
Just let me know what you would reccomend and your thoughts.. Thanks.

I went with a Utah Sport cycle one. As I recall they make a few of the other brands for them. Be aware that a lot of the providers show generic pictures, many of which show water pump coverage. I haven't seen an aluminum one for a KDX that has that because of the frame ears.

That seems good enough.

I was just doing some searching and I found this: http://www.hyderacing.com/store/dirtbik ... dx_200.htm

Wondered if anyone's tried that yet.
I'm seriously considering that now too.

that stuff looks pretty cool, but I would be leary of having to take a bunch of stuff off to work on the bike. maybe the regular skid plate would be ok, but the one with the integrated pipe guard might get in the way. I never knew I needed a swingarm guard  .
