How about a sticky of reputable machine shops that know how to do the KX/KDX stem press work? I'd like recommendations and I'm sure others would appreciate the information. So just reply to this post with the shops pertinent information.

Did you happen to read the post (firfighter, I think it was?) about his trouble with the swap? The bearing didn't fit tight to the bottom clamp.
...and Ron just handed it back to him, said, 'Sorry 'bout that!'

Ha! No way. He FIXED the problem.
Anyone with a press can take the stem out, put it back in. It's knowing what to do with the anomalies of the situation...what
might crop up..THAT'S the guy you want to deal with.
You might just be the next anomalic situation.
