just going thru some old notes and found one from when i was setting up my computer for the wheel size.highth method was 2153 and rolling method line to line was 2095. i split them in the middle at 2124 and set it there.it seems to be spot on with car speedometers,but i am wondering why the different numbers? tire size is 80/100-21 dunlop 756.what 4 digit number is everybody else running in their computers? j$.

Calculating the rolling circumference of the loaded tire from it's dimensions is bound to be way off; measure a tire sometime.

I think the best way to calibrate those devices is to roll out 10 revolutions and figure from there.

In case that's not clear, do this in the street:
1. Mark wheel.
2. Roll mark on wheel to bottom. Mark road at mark.
3. Roll out 10 revolutions; mark road again. Try to go straight.
4. Measure from mark to mark, divide by 10, that's your number.
