220 w/ RB head only: Impressions

Got to put about 200 miles on the 220 last week at Morrow County OHV. We had 3 days of hard riding including the harescramble on Sunday which I got to escort my son in the Jr. class.
I got to test out my new '03 KX125 forks for the 1st time and absolutey loved them. Rode faster, longer and was less tired. Also, the terrain was very rocky and having these forks really saved wear and tear on the body.
I also was running my 220 with the Fatty woods pipe, 607 reeds, airbox lid removed, RB head mod, and stock carb.
This is the same setup my brother runs on his 220 and we switched alot last year when I ran my previous 220 with the RB carb mod.
I really like this setup! It does not have as much snap as a RB carb'd 220, but I found my current setup to be just right. I found myself shifting less and I think the pull is amazingly smooth. I was able to tractor up anything and I think I was less tired at the end of the day because I wasnt shifting and braking as much.
I ride lazy anyway, so I like this setup because you can ride it like a 4-stroke. Just put it in 3rd and leave it all day.
If I was running faster terrain, or wanted to run more harescrambles, then I would add the Rev pipe and RB the carb. But, for poker runs, enduros, this setup just works for me.
