Case Saver Interchangability

I'm looking for a heavier duty case saver for my bike and none of the aftermarket places that I've found make one for a KDX. I've cross referenced part #s on several years of KXs and none of the part #s are exactly the same.
Does/has anyone found one that will interchange from an aftermarket available MX bike?

I'm about ready to just make one (one of the perks of being a stainless fabricator) and go on. But I thought I'd check for a commercially available one first.

Case saver ot skid plate? If you talking about a skid plate... they are available for the KDX.... Utah Sports or something like that I believe has them... high quality and affordable.

Then there is MSR (Don't be fooled by the wings on it... may not be an actual pic of the KDX guard)

And Works Connection

If you are truly talking about a Case Saver then OEM or fabricating one yourself is your best bet! Always run with one though because you never know when a chain may let loose on ya....

I ran the OEM case saver without the plastic cover because of the mud and dirt that would build up under the plastic cover. I just found shorter bolts for the OEM case saver.

That's what I'm doing now. Got shorter bolts and took the mud bucket off.
