Nope not really you just need to make some posts up for where the stock # plate slides into those two holes on the lower triple tree, the head light will then slide over those posts you make up. If you look at a KLX at the dealership you can get a better idea but its simple.

does the stock kdx light wires hook right up to the klx 450 headlight because that would be so sick if it was easy to make it look like yours

Not to hyjack your thread kdxboy but if I may ask!! what all fenders can you put on back of the kdx ~~2005 will the Kx fit on back as???????
