1998 kx125 w/ kdx motor

Would a 1998 kx125 be a good bike to use with a kdx motor would it be an improvement over my 2001 kdx220 with kx forks just wondering found a cheap 98 thanks for any in put.

Ive got one 98 kx125 with 90 motor.Lovely comfy seat.
