OK...so a buddy o mine with a KLX 300 said hed hook me up with a bunch of spare stuff that he does not need, one being an Axel....seing as both KX and KLX have inverted Forks, i assume the dimensions would be the same or similar...culd it work for my 1996 250 Forks, 97 wheel, and an axel from a 2003 KLX 300?

Culd it? Yes. Will it? There's no way of truly knowing without trying, unless, of course, the part #'s from Kawasaki are the same. Did you check for that?
