94 KDX Fork Conversion

94 KDX Fork Conversion
Can the forks on a 94 KDX be swapped to later model KX 125/250? From looking at the part diagrams and comparing part numbers the 91 KX125/250 had the same lower stem bearing as the 94 KDX. The 92-06 KX has a different sized lower stem bearing than the 94 KDX (same as 95-06 KDX) Therefore is the fork conversion limited to only 91 KX forks?
