why cant you use the tried and true procedure with the airstryker?
maybe if you get your main right, and still have spooge after that, than just try a leaner pilot. I have just recently found the perfect{almost} jetting. 158/45 w/ stock needle in 3rd. i want to get a cel to see if it stands up to the rep it has on here!

foots,

Sounds like a rich condition to me, you should jet down with the supplied jets that were sent with the carb. Re-read the fine tuning procedures that were sent with the carb. YES, some fine tuning maybe necessary,

Please contact me with your concerns and I can guide you through you problems.

How did this turn out?

I just changed from a 38 to a 40 recently. Actually, had forgotten I'd put the 38 in and hadn't changed back. My notes weren't updated to the 38! I was surprised to find the thing in there!!

Got a considerably eaiser starting bike. I've run a 38 in warmer temps and had it work just fine, but the choke-cold start procedure changed a good bit. Trying to start a 38 as if it was a 40 had me kicking WAY too much.

Are you running the CEK-3?
