Oh yeah, I have seen this. I wouldnt mind having one at all, or even just sitting on one.
I was talking with a rider friend a few weeks ago and he said he has a friend who is a tester for Aprilla. He got one of the first RSVs in the U.S. and was riding it around Northern Arizona. Ive got to get in touch with the guy, i want to check it out!
On a side note, anyone see the new BMW G650X? Wow...
http://www.motorcycle-usa.com/Article_P ... 826&Page=1 Seems to be made by Aprilla as well.

Boy at 318lbs that makes a DRZ-400 seem like a light weight in comparison...

My buddy rides a BRP (Big Red Pig - Honda XR650R) that thing weighs 277 dry. He's 6'5" and 295, so it works for him. I've ridden it, and sort of like a street bike, once it's moving it feels a lot lighter. I would not want to be boulder hopping with it though. Get it out in the open and it's pretty danged nice. I would hope the Aprillia comes in lighter, but they sure don't seem to want you knowing the weight.

Hey mike is that the guy that loads the xr into his truck without a ramp?

by Colorado Mike
yeah, well it's the same guy, but that was with his old IT 490. now with the new bike he has begun using a ramp. He's strong as an ox though. if he helps me load my bike I have to be damned ready, other wise the bike is flying up my ramp dragging me.

Whew..that HP2 is crazy. Looks like the Husqvarna TE610 in a way which comes in at 308 pounds. That husky is quite a performer as well, I rode with a guy on one a month ago or so and he was contemplating selling it. After that ride he decided to sell his 950 adventure and keep the 610, it was just too much fun.
The Aprilia RXV comes in at 275.5lbs dry.

They all lack one important thing for me
A descent sized fuel tank

KDXer, what is that green bike? Sweet lines that one has.
On the Aprillia, what i've read about them as far as owner reviews, they seem to be split. There was a guy on KTMTalk that sold his w/ something like 18 miles on it. Others say if you get them remapped and dialed in, they flat out rip. Most of them said they don't have long enough legs to sustain anything close to road speeds (they are dual-sports arent they?) w/o running the guts out of them. So, too heavy for dirt, and geared too low for the street. Way cool looking bikes though.
